About 3,000 violent crimes were prosecuted over the last six years that involved drugs – with drugs being an underlying cause of a high percentage of related crimes such a theft of property, and crimes that involve gangs or guns.
Operation GhostRider: 10 suspects indicted; 28 arrested for drug offenses, conspiracy and racketeering (assisted by federal authorities).
High School Drugs: Sweep of high school students and staff indicted and charged on drug offenses.
The D.A. Office, in cooperation with local, state and federal agencies, has and is prosecuting several major cases that involve drug trafficking rings and multiple suspects.

Bill also believes in helping to provide Treatment and Intervention for drugs, gangs and guns.
