Bill Thiebaut’s support for numerous issues important to people have made him popular with a variety of constituent groups. In past elections he has garnered significant support from Independents, Republicans, and Democrats. This support reflects his commitment to doing the right thing; to representing his district and people in general; to solving the problems of his constituents either judicially, legislatively or through intercession with governmental or private agencies; to fighting for projects, issues and economic development throughout Colorado; and, to being there for people when they need him regardless of life circumstances or situation.
As Pueblo’s District Attorney he is committed to protecting the rights and safety of the citizens of Pueblo County. Under his leadership, the office continues to be open and responsive to the People, to deliver Smart Justice programs that protect citizens from crime by rigorously prosecuting criminals, assisting victims, and supporting programs and opportunities that attack the underlying causes of crime – which are vital to improving Pueblo County and making the community a safer place to live.
